More than two years ago, shortly after quitting my job at Google I attended the Dublin web summit and was deeply impressed by some of the innovative start up owners I met at the event.
It was then, in between two investors pitch events that I was struck with a vision: a single, revolutionary platform that will make it incredibly easy for anyone to design anything, anywhere. Technology means that design is incredibly being democratized, and that ultimately “you are the designer” which translated into my new startup concept, “youzign”.
Our company YMB Properties had already started working on our own graphic software technology, with several softwares covering most graphic needs and serving over 20,000 of customers. So ultimately the mission of youzign became to build upon our experiences and merge all these technologies into one united platform.
But as life would want it, youzign just didn’t happen overnight. In January 2014 we finally started active development of youzign, and 9 months later not unlike a child raised into a womb, we are proud to announce that youzign is born.
And what better date to welcome youzign to this world than this very day, September 18th, the day I was born (yes, it’s my birthday!).
Of course, like any new born youzign still has a long way to go before it can stand on its own two feet. For the next 4 weeks or so youzign will remain available as an invite only private beta, and you will be happy to learn that you can already request your invite here.
As a company, YMB has been exclusively working on graphic software for over 2 years now so youzign is a natural progression of what we love doing. At heart, YMB is an artist company, doing its best to bridge the increasingly blurry gap between traditional and digital art. Like the stonemasons built the ancient cathedrals of Europe, we are not here to make a quick buck, but to build a lasting legacy, brick by brick.
We truly believe in our mission to contribute to mankind in our own little ways every day by being true to ourselves, good to others and faithful to our work ethics.
Youzign embodies all that, and we sincerely hope it will make your life easier and contribute to the growth of your business, and ultimately a better life for all of us.
Check out youzign and request your beta invite today,
Make it an awesome week,
and the YMB team.
P.S. Youzign is already available for beta users and will be going publicly live in early October 2014. In the meantime make sure to watch out for exclusive news and updates about youzign in the coming days on this blog!
P.P.S. Are you as excited as we are about youzign? Let me know in the comments what you think and make sure to share your feedback and suggestions too!
